Question 1:- Do you like texting?
Answer 1:- Yes, I like texting because it is an alternative way to talk with other people.
Answer 2:- Yes, I like to text people because it gives me the confidence to chat with someone new over call, and I think that’s the best way to interact with new people. Also, it is a very reliable and easy way to chat with someone you don’t know, so I like texting.
Question 2:- How often do you write texts?
Answer 1:- Every day I write a text to my friends and relatives for some important talks. Some time with my teachers for study-related discussions.
Answer 2:- Well, I text people daily. The message my friends and relatives daily basis show that we can interact with each other easily because now nowadays, everyone is busy in their life, so people don’t have that much time, so they can talk over a call so, which is easy to interact and get in touch with your friends and relatives.
Question 3:- Why do you send texts?
Answer 1:- I send text for my study purpose and sometimes talk with my relatives like my uncle and cousins.
Answer 2:- I usually send a text to pass on information or some news to get in touch with my friends and cousins. That is a fun and convenient way to pass information to everyone.
Question 4:- Do you use any apps to write texts?
Answer 1:- I use apps like WhatsApp and Instagram for texting.
Answer 2:- well, yes, I use many apps to send text messages to my friends and family ties. The most popular social app is WhatsApp to send messages, and also I use the iMessage app, and I think that’s the most reliable and helpful app for me.
Question 5:- Do you text someone if they don’t answer your phone call?
Answer 1:- Yes, many times when I called my brother and he was in his lecture, so at that time, I sent him a text message to call urgently after the lecture.
Answer 2:- Well, sometimes, if I call someone who doesn’t pick up my calls, I text him to answer my call. Usually, I do it when it’s urgent for me. Last Saturday, I called my friend, and he didn’t pick up my call, so I texted him to pick up my call, and it’s very urgent for me.
Question 6:- Do you prefer sending or receiving messages?
Answer 1:- I prefer both sending and receiving messages because both are important to me.
Answer 2:- Yes, I would love to send our receiving message because it is straightforward to chat with someone over a text rather than a call.
Question 7:- Do you always reply to a text message?
Answer 1:- Yes, most of the time, I reply to all text messages, but some advertisement companies also send text messages, so I do not prefer to answer them back.
Answer 2:- Yeah, I mostly reply to all of my messages, but sometimes I miss some messages from my end because it is I think hard to respond to everyone. After all, I have many friends and relatives, and sometimes I miss someone’s text, so I make sure to reply to everyone.
Question 8:- In what situations is making a call better than writing a text?
Answer 1:- In some emergency slides, someone is in illness, so at the time, it is better to call rather than message because some people are not seen messages immediately.
Answer 2:- I think if someone is busy or in a meeting, text is a perfect option for him because it is easy to pass information while someone is busy. Last Monday, when I was in a meeting, I got a phone call from my friend, and I am I couldn’t answer that phone call because it was my morning meeting, so I chatted with him over a text.
Question 9:- Is texting better than calling people?
Answer 1:- No, I don’t think texting is better than calling because, in some emergencies, it is better to call instead of sending a message.
Answer 2:- Well, chatting is not as good as a phone call because you can show feelings on a phone call and can’t show your emotions on text messages. Also, phone calls provide proper information without any misunderstanding to the person, so I think a phone call is a better option rather than a text.
Question 10:- Have you ever received a confusing text message?
Answer 1:- Sometimes, my friends prank me and send confusing messages by typing any word.
Answer 2:- Sometimes, I receive confusing text messages from my friend cause I can’t see his feelings. It is hard to understand that message, and that’s why earlier I said a phone call is a better option over a text, so if I receive confusing text so, I call that person to get proper information about that text like last month, I got a text from my boss so I didn’t understand what he strikes to say so I called him and ask him to what are you exactly trying to say.
Question 11:- Do you receive texts with ads?
Answer 1:- Yes, many times I received advertisement messages which are not necessary, and I deleted them immediately.
Answer 2:- Yeah, nowadays, text replaces and converts into ads and promotions of the company’s policies and new products. With the help of tax, a company can advertise their products to the customers and also give offers. I received so many ads and offered over text, which I think is very irritating.
